We were privileged to undertake the renovation of Terry's common bathroom, which had faithfully served him for many years but was showing signs of wear and tear. Recognizing the need for a revitalised space, Terry sought a modern touch to breathe new life into his bathroom.

The client’s bathroom showed clear signs of aging, particularly evident in the worn-out vanity panels and outdated shower design. Terry expressed a desire for a more spacious and contemporary bathroom.

To modernize the overall look, we proposed the use of full tiles, offering a sleek and contemporary style that would transform the bathroom’s appearance. Terry sought a more efficient toilet system, which we integrated into our renovation plans to enhance the bathroom’s performance and convenience.

Addressing the issue of inadequate ventilation, we recommended the installation of a robust ventilation system to effectively remove excess moisture from the wet areas, promoting a cleaner and healthier environment.

Taking into account the initial condition of the bathroom and the client’s specific requirements, our renovation project was tailored to address these concerns while delivering a functional and visually appealing space that perfectly aligned with Terry’s needs and preferences.

The renovated bathroom exuded a refined elegance and timeless sophistication, achieved through meticulous attention to detail. Our design approach focused on striking a balance between practical and visually stunning.

Storage optimisation was a key consideration in the renovation, with carefully chosen elements not only offered ample storage solutions but also exuded an inviting and luxurious ambiance.

By thoughtfully selecting fixtures, fittings, and appliances, we were able to seamlessly blend style, practicality, and luxury in the renovated bathroom. Each element harmonised with the overall design scheme, enhancing the space’s aesthetic appeal while ensuring optimal functionality for everyday use.

Materials

In the shower area, safety and style were seamlessly integrated with the installation of a 10mm thick tempered retaining glass for the pull-out door. This premium glass not only ensured durability but also added a sleek and contemporary touch to the space. With a generous size of 1m x 1m, the shower area provided ample room for a comfortable showering experience.

Efficient drainage was guaranteed with the incorporation of the AllProof shower drain system from Reece Plumbing. Designed to effectively collect and remove water, this system prevents any potential accumulation, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Additionally, Technokolla waterproofing products were applied to create a robust and water-resistant foundation, safeguarding against moisture damage and ensuring long-lasting performance.

The walls featured a captivating juxtaposition of light and dark tones in marble looking to achieved with Marmo 300 X 600 wall tiles from Tile Depot. These tiles boasted a distinctive stone-like character with a soft linear grain, adding depth and visual intrigue to the space. With an R10 anti-slip rating, they not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal but also prioritized safety.

For the bathroom floor, Cashmere Oyster Micorotee 600 X 600 tiles from Tile Depot were selected to create a luxurious and indulgent atmosphere. Their smooth polished finish exuded sophistication, elevating the overall ambiance of the space.

Bathroom Vanity & Storage

To optimise storage space, we integrated a 900mm freestanding vanity into the design, opting for the stylish Nora Oak model from Renoarts. This vanity not only offered ample storage but also added a touch of sophistication to the space. With its three drawers and cabinet below, it promoted efficient organization and accessibility, ensuring a clutter-free environment. The Nora Oak vanity blended seamlessly with the overall aesthetic, radiating elegance and modernity.

For added luxury and practicality, we installed the Heirloom, an 800mm x 600mm heated towel rail. 

To elevate the ambiance and functionality of the bathroom further, we incorporated the Broadway LED mirror, spanning 900mm. Its auto-demist function ensured a clear reflection even in steamy conditions, enhancing convenience and usability.

Bathroom Fittings & Fixtures

We meticulously curated each element to ensure a harmonious blend of style, functionality, and convenience.

To infuse the bathroom with a warm and inviting ambiance, we integrated Phillip LED energy-efficient downlights. 

To achieve a clean and sophisticated backdrop, we opted for Resene Alabaster interior painting. This versatile shade served as the perfect canvas, adding a touch of elegance while allowing the architectural features and fittings to shine.

The tapware selection from the Engelfield Duo II series was chosen for its impeccable craftsmanship and timeless design. 

In prioritising hygiene and ease of maintenance, we selected the Engelfield Evora II back-to-wall Rimless toilet from Reece. This innovative design streamlined the cleaning process and also ensured a more hygienic experience for users.

To enhance comfort and convenience, the bathroom featured a multifunctional 3-in-1 heater that combined lighting, heating, and ventilation functionalities. On top of that, an independent extract fan was installed to meet ventilation requirements, catering to both residential and potential rental needs with efficiency and effectiveness.

Overall outcome

The culmination of the bathroom renovation project has yielded an exceptional transformation, leaving the client satisfied with the outcome. 

A significant improvement lies in the augmented sense of spaciousness. The room now exuded a greater sense of openness, with expanded areas around the vanity and shower space. This enhancement not only enhanced functionality but also fostered an airier and more welcoming environment.

The utilisation of full wall tiles in the bathroom had proven to be a masterstroke, infusing the space with an added layer of elegance while simplifying maintenance. The seamless integration of tiles created a visually cohesive and streamlined aesthetic throughout the room. 

Our dedicated team meticulously executed this project over the course of 4 weeks, ensuring attention to detail at every step. All fittings provided by Renoarts came with the standard warranty, offering the client peace of mind. Our client’s vision for her much-awaited renovation was clear: she desired a bathroom with a unique ambiance, boasting premium fittings and finishes. With budget considerations taking a backseat, her primary focus was on creating a deluxe space that would be adored by her family and guests alike.

To fulfill this vision, we meticulously crafted a space exuding contemporaneity and individuality. Every aspect of the design was carefully curated to evoke a sense of warmth, opulence, and personal well-being. From the selection of high-quality materials to the installation of top-of-the-line fittings, no detail was overlooked in transforming the bathroom into a sanctuary of indulgence.

In addition to aesthetics, we prioritised spaciousness and practicality. Each element was thoughtfully positioned to optimise functionality while maintaining a sense of openness and ease of movement. Furthermore, all areas of the bathroom were designed to be easy to maintain and resistant to moisture, ensuring long-lasting durability.

By harmonising brighter and warmer colour tones throughout the space, we achieved a perfect balance that fulfilled the brief for style, luxury, and uniqueness. The resulting bathroom was a testament to our commitment to exceeding our client’s expectations, providing them with a haven that not only met but surpassed their desires for a deluxe retreat.

Materials

The shower cabin in this luxurious bathroom boasted durability and ease of maintenance with its 10mm thick tempered glass construction. The expansive 1100mm x 1100mm frameless shower created a sense of grandeur and space, accentuated by the seamless continuation of flooring and wall tiles throughout the entire bathroom. The shower featured the same French-themed glazed Porcelain tiles from Tile Depot, specifically the Vaucluse Bossa Nova matte finish range in Grey concrete color. Inspired by the timeless elegance of the Louvre, these tiles infuse the space with an air of sophistication, blending elegant aesthetics with the natural charm of vintage stone.

The interior walls were painted in Resene’s interior Alabaster, a popular choice known for its warm and inviting hue, which enhanced the visual appeal of the bathroom while adding a touch of ageless elegance.

The fittings and fixtures, carefully selected from high-end supplier Reece Plumbing, showcased a brushed Nickel theme, adding a luxurious touch to the space. A built-in niche within the bathroom added a hint of refinement and practicality. We made sure that the bath and toilet fittings harmonise seamlessly with the flooring and walls, creating a cohesive design palette.

Bathroom Vanity & Storage

A wall-hung design vanity was chosen to maximize both visual spaciousness and practicality.

The vanity featured handle-free drawer, crafted from soft solid driftwood, provided a seamless and contemporary aesthetic that complemented the overall design scheme of the bathroom. This sleek finish was further enhanced by the strategic placement of lighting, which accentuated its smooth contours.

To add a touch of luxury and visual appeal, we selected the Moo 415 countertop basin from Reece.

Bathroom Fittings & Fixtures

Continuing the theme of luxury and hygiene, we incorporated a rimless toilet from the Kado Lux range, known for its high levels of cleanliness due to its hygienic design. To complete the toilet area, we included a toilet roll holder from the Mizu Drift Brushed Nickel range at Reece, seamlessly integrating functionality with style.

In the shower area, simplicity and elegance took center stage with the Mizu Stream Brushed Nickel shower water mixer and slider, offering a slimline design that enhanced both aesthetics and functionality. The basin tap and mixer, also from the Mizu range, featured a minimalist wall-mounted design that added a touch of sophistication to the bathroom.

To add those elegant finishing touches, we installed heated towel rails from the Mizu Stream range in Brushed Nickel, ensuring warmth and comfort after every shower. A built-in niche provided a stylish yet practical storage solution for personal accessories and products, while a 900mm round LED mirror with auto demist function ensured on-demand clarity for grooming routines. Completing the premium look is a pop-up waste bin from the Mizu Brushed Nickel series, adding a touch of refinement to the space.

Finally, we painted all doors and windows with Resene interior Alabaster paint, known for its durability, adding a warm and inviting touch to the bathroom interior.

Overall outcome

The client’s ecstatic reaction to our work was truly rewarding. Not only did we meet her expectations, but we also collaborated closely with her to bring her vision to fruition.

To provide further assurance of the quality and durability of our work, we offer a comprehensive warranty package. This includes 1-year workmanship warranty and a 15-year waterproof warranty that offers peace of mind against water damage. The PS4 certificate of waterproofing from the Council confirms compliance with building regulations, further reinforcing the integrity of our work.

While the bathroom wasn’t extensively worn down, it required a modern makeover.

Annie and Quinton had a clear understanding of what they wanted, a bigger shower, underfloor heating, a freestanding bath for their children and a double basin elegant looking vanity.

They had high expectations for the tiling colour, design and layout.  They wanted to bring the place alive with a contemporary touch and modern fittings, fixtures and storage. At the same time, a well-ventilated bathroom that was easy to maintain.

Our approach was to keep it smart, simple, elegant, and stylish, ensuring that we meet the client’s requirements with a contemporary twist.

Careful consideration was given to selecting top-quality materials to transform the bathroom into a modern and stylish sanctuary. Each material was chosen with equal focus on functionality and aesthetics, resulting in a visually appealing and enduring renovation.

Materials

The renovation featured a custom-made frameless shower measuring 1m X 1.2m, supported by a Brushed Nickel powder-coated glass channel. Both the floor and wall tiles were meticulously laid with waterproofing underneath to ensure peace of mind. The bathroom boasted full Aqualine GIB, alongside the application of Technokolla waterproof products.

An extractor fan was fixed on the ceiling for ventilation purposes. To enhance comfort, new underfloor heating with a control panel was integrated into the design. Finally, the renovation was illuminated by Philip LED ceiling lights with two-colour adjustable settings, adding versatility and ambiance to the space.

Bathroom Cabinets and Storage:

We selected a custom-made wall-hung countertop double basin vanity measuring 1200mm to maximise storage and enhance the bathroom’s elegance. The vanity featured white acrylic boards and a 30mm thickness engineered stone, adding both functionality and sophistication to the space. An LED light strip was added underneath the wall-hung vanity for a warm glow that is atmospheric.

 

A 600mm X 800mm heated towel rail was installed for convenient access to warm towels within the shower area. To elevate the bathroom’s outlook, an intelligent 1200mm LED mirror with auto-demist, dimmer, and colour change options was included, providing versatility and convenience. On top of that, shower niche was built to serve as storage space for shampoo and soap, ensuring a clutter-free and organised environment.

Fixtures, Fittings, and Appliances:

The fittings and fixtures chosen for the renovation included Brushed Nickel shower mixers, sliders, basin taps, and a bath spout, all sourced from the reputable brand Methven. The toilet featured a rimless CCBTW system from Englefied, while the basin was supplied by New Tech.

For the interior painting, Resene Alabaster was selected to provide a clean and timeless finish. The tiles used were from Tile Depot, with the bathroom floor and wall adorned in Casserto Grey 600mm X 1200mm tiles. This rectified porcelain series offered a distinct concrete formwork effect, adding an industrial, urban, and slightly edgy vibe to the space. Available in contemporary colours such as Grey, White, and Nero, these tiles could be utilised on both floors and walls.

To enhance the bathing experience for the kids, a back-to-wall freestanding bath measuring 1500mm was installed, providing ample space for enjoyment and relaxation.

Overall outcome

The client provided positive feedback, affirming the quality of workmanship. Following the completion of the main bathroom project, the client has requested us to proceed with the ensuite renovation, the feature wall construction at the fireplace and the change of flooring. 

This bathroom renovation is of high-end quality, featuring a custom-made wall-hung vanity and top-brand fittings, along with large decorative tiles. The use of Brushed Nickel colour fittings creates a striking contrast against the light-coloured elements. Various styles of LED lighting have been incorporated throughout the bathroom, adding both aesthetic appeal and practicality. The underfloor heating also ensures comfort during the winter months. With a one-year guarantee on workmanship and a 15-year waterproof warranty, this renovation is designed to offer both durability and peace of mind.

The half wall adorned with City White Gloss tiles in a 200*400mm format, painted in Resene Comfortably Numb, steals the spotlight, providing a striking backdrop for the contemporary fixtures.

The custom-made 1x1m frameless pull-out door shower enhances the perception of space, offering both functionality and style. 

The floor adorned with Elegance White matte 600x600mm tiles provides a clean and timeless base, while Technokolla waterproof products ensure durability. 

The use of full Aqualine GIB and high-quality waterproofing solidify the foundation of the revamped ensuite.

Bathroom Cabinets and Storage:

The ensuite storage is ingeniously incorporated into a 1500mm wall freestanding countertop vanity. Crafted with Best Wood Jarrah Legend wood grain panels and a 30mm thickness White Sky benchtop, the vanity exudes sophistication. Hafele Alto running drawers maximize storage, and the Valdama Pod basin atop adds a touch of Italian elegance. 

The 1200mm LED mirror from Renoarts, equipped with auto-demist, color change, and dimmer functions, elevates both aesthetics and functionality.

Chrome-colored tapware from Engelfield complements the ensemble, providing a touch of modernity.

Simon had a clear vision for a luxurious ensuite with black fittings and tiles, while maintaining the existing layout but replacing the drop-in bath with a walk-in shower. Given the bungalow-style house with Rimu interior walls, Simon opted for a barn door to preserve the home’s unique character.

The dated drop-in bath and existing layout were identified as areas requiring attention. Simon aimed to replace the bath with a walk-in shower for both aesthetic and practical reasons. His choice of black color fittings and tiles reflected a desire for a sophisticated and contemporary look.

Being in a bungalow-style house with Rimu interior walls, the project retained the house’s unique character. Simon opted for a barn door instead of a sliding door, blending modern upgrades with the existing style.

The renovated ensuite is a harmonious blend of modern luxury and timeless elegance. As you enter, a seamless fusion of sophistication and contemporary style unfolds. The atmosphere is warm, with rich, contrasting tones that visually captivate. Meticulously curated details evoke opulence, from the glossy French-themed tiles to the muted Rimu interior walls.

The layout enhances spaciousness, creating an open and inviting environment. The frameless walk-in shower with coated tempered glass adds to the sense of airiness, while the barn door integrates modern upgrades with the bungalow-style home. Bold black fittings and tiles provide a striking contrast, achieving a carefully balanced mix of contemporary design and timeless charm.

The renovated ensuite is a sanctuary of indulgence, meeting modern standards while reflecting the unique personality of the homeowner.

The ensuite features a custom-made 1*1.8m frameless walk-in shower with tempered glass and Enduro Shield coating to minimize water stains. The floor and wall tiles are French-themed glazed Porcelain tiles in 600mmx600mm from Tile Depot, creating a seamless and grand appearance. 

Waterproofing is ensured with full Aqualine GIB and Technokolla waterproof products. To maintain the style and substance, a proper extractor fan is installed in the ceiling.

Bathroom Cabinets and Storage:

Ensuite storage is elegantly incorporated with a 750mm wall freestanding Malik Rubik vanity from Reece Plumbing. Additional storage comes from a 750mm white mirror cabinet, offering space for shavers, toothbrushes, etc. LED mirror lights from Lighting Plus enhance both functionality and aesthetics.

The ensuite boasts a Mizu range from Reece Plumbing, featuring Matt Black tone fittings, including a basin mixer, HTR, shower mixer, slider with overhead rain shower, and a Kado Lux CCBTW toilet. 

Resene Alabaster interior painting complements the tiles, with Stardust Milk soft 597x597mm for the bathroom floor and Universal Nain 610x1220mm for a stunning feature wall. 

The barn door from Door Shed adds a unique touch with Matt Black accessories and track, providing a unique touch to the bathroom entry. 

Overall outcome

The result is a fresh, elegant, and fully functional ensuite that seamlessly matches the house’s style. The black tone fittings create a beautiful contrast with the tiles and light-colored wall paint. All communication between the project manager and owner was efficiently conducted through emails, ensuring clear decision-making and regular project updates. The ensuite comes with a 2-year workmanship warranty, a 15-year waterproof warranty, PS4 certificates from the Council, and Electrical Code of Compliance certificates. The bathroom was not very run down or water damaged but in need of a makeover for modernity. Jimmy wanted to make it more modern without changing the structure. 

He decided to do this because he likes the look of modern bathrooms, especially ones with a freestanding bath and more color.

He wanted to bring the place alive with a contemporary touch and modern fittings, fixtures and storage. He also wanted to have good ventilation and lighting while keeping the place practical and easy to maintain.

Upon entering the renovated main bathroom, one is enveloped in an atmosphere of modern luxury. The play of contrasting tones, from the sleek black fittings to the soft grey hues of Tivoli Pearl Matt tiles, creates a visually striking and harmonious space. 

The oval-shaped freestanding bath stands as a focal point, invoking a sense of relaxation and adding a touch of whimsy. The floor-to-ceiling tiles amplify the feeling of spaciousness, completing a contemporary sanctuary that seamlessly blends style and functionality.

Materials

The custom-made 1x 1.1m frameless shower exudes modern elegance, sitting on a black powder-coated glass channel with corresponding accessories. 

Floor and wall tiles, Tivoli Pearl Matt 600x600mm from Tile Depot, not only provide a visual contrast but also feature waterproofing for added durability. A full Aqualine GIB and Technokolla waterproof products ensure a robust foundation. 

Bathroom Cabinets and Storage:

The 900mm wall-hung countertop single-basin vanity from NewTech takes center stage, offering both storage and elegance with its black-colored panel and 20mm thick engineered stone. 

An LED mirror with auto-demist, dimmer, and color change options adds a touch of sophistication. Niche spaces are strategically built into the shower and bath wet areas for convenient storage of shampoos and soaps.

Fixtures, Fittings, and Appliances:

Matt black fixtures from the trusted NZ local brand Englefield dominate the bathroom – from the shower mixer/slider and basin and shower mixer to the bath spout. The bathroom features Resene Alabaster interior painting to complement the tiles. The oval-shaped freestanding bath, measuring 1500mm, becomes a focal point, adding an element of fun for the kids.

The bathroom is further adorned with a matt black finished pop-up waste, shower floor drain, and a Heirloom Strata Heated towel bar. Venting takes place with a proper extractor fan on the ceiling and Philip LED ceiling lights with two-color adjustable settings provide brilliant ambience.

Overall outcome

The main bathroom achieved a stunning transformation with the incorporation of matt black color fittings creating a striking contrast with the Tivoli Pearl Matt tiles. Floor-to-ceiling tiling not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also aids in moisture removal, contributing to a spacious and visually appealing bathroom. The oval-shaped freestanding bath stands out as a unique feature, adding both functionality and style. The ensuite had seen its fair share of use over the years, leading to visible signs of ageing. Since we had already renovated the main bathroom and toilet, Irina wanted continuity to some extent while maintaining uniqueness and identity for both spaces.

Irina’s passion for unique tapware and tile designs remained a focal point for this renovation as well, to maintain continuity with the main bathroom theme. She additionally wanted to enhance comfort with features like hot and cold water supply for a bidet and a 3-in-1 heater on the ceiling as well as a big overhead shower system.

Once everything was approved on the project scope, budget and design, we started the project ensuring there was minimal disruption to the client. Having done a renovation in their home before, they trusted us for our workmanship and project management.

After The Renovation

Overall look & feel

Step into Irina’s renewed ensuite, where a harmonious blend of colours and textures creates an inviting atmosphere. Silver metallic floor tiles provide a striking backdrop, while luxurious Tivoli Grey Super Gloss wall tiles replicate natural stone.

The wall-hung vanity, crowned with a custom white marble slab top, exudes elegance. An LED auto-dim mirror eliminates fog and offers versatile lighting. Premium gunmetal Methven tapware complements the modern design.

This ensuite is a functional yet elegant retreat for Irina, where every detail exudes freshness and sophistication.

Shower & Waterproofing

A custom-made 1m x 1m pull-out door frameless shower was chosen to maximise space and replace the previous acrylic shower. The tempered glass was treated with EnduroShield coating to minimise water stains. 

The floor and wall tiles were selected with waterproofing in mind, given the ensuite’s location on the third level. Our team employed full Aqualine GIB, ensuring a durable and water-resistant foundation, giving Irina peace of mind for years to come.

Bathroom Tiling

For the bathroom floor, we chose Metal Stone Silver 6*6 tiles, which offered a striking semi-polished porcelain look with a distinct silver metallic finish. The range of grey to charcoal tones with a silver sheen gave the bathroom a unique character.

The ensuite bathroom walls were adorned with Tivoli Grey Super Gloss 3*6 tiles, replicating the elegance of natural stone. The high gloss finish reflected light and added a sense of luxury to the space. These tiles were selected to match the countertop basin’s colour tone, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing design.

For the shower’s wet area, Irina opted for feature wall tiles in Artwood Blackblue 200 X 1200. These tiles replicated the look of wood with a high degree of variation, adding a touch of warmth to the space.

Bathroom Cabinets and Storage:

We installed a 900mm wall-hung vanity from Bath&Tile. The vanity featured a custom white marble slab top, adding a touch of elegance to the space. To enhance functionality and convenience, we incorporated an LED auto-dim function into the mirror. This feature eliminated fog after showers and allowed for adjustable lighting from cold white to warm yellow, providing versatility for various lighting needs.

The counter-top basin selected for the ensuite not only looked elegant but was paired with a Methven gunmetal tall basin mixer, adding a touch of luxury to the daily routine.

To illuminate the ensuite, we chose Phillip LED downlights, paired with Resene Alabaster interior painting, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

The tapware, sourced from the renowned NZ brand Methven, featured a premium gunmetal finish, complementing the overall aesthetic of the ensuite. The Englefield back-to-wall rimless toilet added a modern touch, optimising space utilisation.

Irina’s desire for enhanced comfort was achieved through the inclusion of both hot and cold water supply for a bidet, providing an extra layer of convenience and luxury in the ensuite. The project also incorporated a 3-in-1 heater mounted on the ceiling. This choice eliminated the need for a traditional wall-mounted heater fan, offering efficient heating and maintaining a sleek and clutter-free design.

Overall outcome

The final result of Irina’s ensuite renovation is a testament to freshness, elegance, and functionality. The renovation process was streamlined through effective communication between our project manager and the client, with decisions, variations, fittings, and tile selections handled efficiently via email.

Premium Gunmetal finish tapware, along with shower accessories, tile edge trims and even a separate gunmetal mixer and hand bidet for the toilet. The ensuite now offers a harmonious blend of functionality and luxury, making it a welcoming space for Irina to enjoy.

Irina’s main bathroom has undergone a remarkable transformation, now exuding an air of timeless sophistication and contemporary functionality. The centerpiece is an elegant custom-made sliding door shower, featuring tempered glass that seamlessly balances aesthetics and practicality.

The carefully chosen tiles redefine the space, creating an ambiance that is both inviting and opulent. In the toilet area, New York Nero tiles set a unique tone, complemented by an eye-catching feature wall created by a harmonious blend of different tile designs.

Elegance meets convenience with thoughtfully designed storage solutions, premium Methven tapware, and a blend of illumination and ventilation. The Englefield back-to-wall rimless toilet is the epitome of modern bathroom design.

Shower and waterproofing:

A custom-made 1×1.2m sliding door shower acrylic shower was installed and the tempered glass has an Enduro Shield coating to minimise water stains.

The floor and wall tiles were selected with waterproofing in mind, considering the bathroom’s location on the second level. The project employed full Aqualine GIB, ensuring a durable and water-resistant foundation.

Bathroom Tiling

Tile selections included Artwood Bone Inlay 600 x 600mm for the bathroom floor. This is a wooden looking pattern with matching chevrons. The bathroom walls have stunning designs of Botanica Magnolia 600mm X 1200mm.

For the toilet area, we used New York Nero 450mm x 450mm. These tiles have smokey colours and an industrial finish. For the toilet walls, we used three different types of tiles to make a feature wall in this smaller area. The tiles include Everest Gloss wall (300 x 600mm), York Slim Gris Gloss (60mm x 400mm) and York Slim Pearl Gloss (60x 400mm).

Bathroom Cabinets and Storage:

The primary storage element in the bathroom is a 1200mm wall-hung vanity from Bath & Tile. Its Marble customised diamond black slab top adds a touch of elegance. To enhance functionality and aesthetics, a black mirror side cabinet was installed for towel storage, also doubling as a space for makeovers and dressing. In the toilet, a wall-hung Nano crystal vanity measuring 420mm was included, serving as a discreet storage solution.

The final touches of elegance were brought by LED mirrors and a counter-top basin. An extractor fan was strategically placed on the wall, complemented by a 3-in-1 heater on the ceiling for added comfort.

Materials

The selection of materials played a pivotal role in reimagining this bathroom, creating a symphony of style, functionality, and durability. The shower area received a touch of modern luxury with a 10mm tempered glass sliding door, effortlessly marrying sleek design with sturdiness.
Our choice of AllProof shower drain system from Reece Plumbing ensured efficient drainage.The Aqualine GIB and new Ceiling GIB formed a sturdy foundation, backed by the reliability of Technokolla waterproofing.

For the walls and floors, we embarked on a harmonious journey of light-coloured tiles that exude sophistication. The walls embraced the timeless Casablanca White tile from Tile Depot, a masterpiece in 120×120 dimensions, offering a charming interplay of shades for a dynamic visual experience.

Complementing the wall’s elegance, the floor was adorned with 600 x 600mm Egyptian White Deco porcelain tiles, radiating a warm eggshell white that added depth to the space. These tiles are set in a captivating random mix, extended from the floor and rolled up to form a captivating feature wall behind the vanity, infusing the bathroom with character.

Bathroom Vanity & Storage

Our bathroom storage solutions combine practicality and style seamlessly. The 600mm wall-hung vanity, in the inviting tones of Brookfield Nordic Ash from Reece, comes with double drawers, adding an organised touch with elegance.

For added comfort, the Mizu Stream 800*600 heated towel rail takes its place, functional and snug. The Avon 600 mirror cabinet, elegantly recessed into the wall with its Nordic Ash design, offers extra storage for everyday needs. It’s worth noting that this cabinet includes an additional internal power socket, discreetly placed for easy charging without affecting the look.

Highlighting our comprehensive approach, a transformed window stands out. With external cladding and expert painting, it fits seamlessly with the bathroom’s look, enhancing both appearance and layout. This creative change shows our commitment to merging style and usefulness, capturing our dedication to a practical and sophisticated transformation.

The addition of an Independent Extractor Fan speaks not just to residential comfort, but also anticipates rental needs, maintaining optimal air circulation.

Bathroom Vanity & Storage

The bathroom renovation incorporated carefully designed storage solutions to maximise functionality and create a neat atmosphere. 

A 750mm wall hung vanity from Mico Plumbing provided ample storage space, while its gloss white colour added to the overall tidiness. The addition of a 750mm Avon mirror cabinet with two doors, also from Mico Plumbing, offered additional storage capacity.

 
Furthermore, the vanity featured a power socket on the side, providing a convenient power supply for charging electronic devices. These thoughtfully integrated storage elements ensure a clutter-free and organised bathroom space, promoting both practicality and aesthetics.

Bathroom Fittings & Fixtures

The bathroom renovation incorporated a range of high-quality fittings and fixtures to enhance functionality and add aesthetic appeal. The lighting was upgraded with Phillip LED downlights, providing a bright and energy-efficient illumination. The tapware selected for the project was from the popular Glide series by Mico, combining style and practicality. 

To ensure cleanliness and ease of maintenance, the Adesso EdgeII Rimless back-to-wall toilet was chosen, offering a contemporary and hygienic design. The bathroom also features a Raymo towel rail, with a generous size of 1025*600mm and a total of nine rails for keeping towels warm and dry. 

The impressive Varo freestanding back-to-wall bath, measuring 1500mm, fits snugly against the wall corner, leaving no gaps and offering both comfort and style. To address ventilation requirements, an independent extract fan was installed, catering not only to residential needs but also potential rental property requirements. Additionally, a 3-in-1 heater and shower dome were included to maintain moisture control within the shower area.

Overall outcome

The client expressed great satisfaction with the transformed bathroom and laundry. The implementation of a light and white colour theme created an illusion of spaciousness, making the rooms appear larger. The space now offers the flexibility of both a shower and a bath, providing options for relaxation. The inclusion of an acrylic shower ensures easy maintenance and durability.
